The Quick Prescription feature in the doctor's dashboard displays an electronic prescription against the complete electronic medical examination backdrop. The doctor could either only create an electronic prescription or create both prescription and complete electronic medical examination records and medical notes.
To create and save an electronic prescription, follow the steps below:
· | Click the Quick Prescription button. The electronic prescription displays. |

· | The attending doctor's details and patient's contact details are displayed. |
· | The date and time of appointment are displayed. |
· | Type the Height, Weight, Blood Pressure, and Pulse measurements in the respective fields. |
· | Click the medicine field to type the prescribed medicine. Some of the common medicines are displayed in the field. These can be selected. |
· | Type any medical advice in the Follow up advice field. |
· | Select the Symptoms check box to display the symptoms field. Extra lines are displayed in the field to type the symptoms.Some of the common symptoms are displayed in the field. These can be selected. |
· | Select the Investigations check box to display the investigations field. Extra lines are displayed in the field to type the investigations.Some of the common investigations are displayed in the field. These can be selected. |
· | Select the Diagnosis check box to display the diagnosis field. Extra lines are displayed in the field to type the diagnosis.Some of the common diagnosis are displayed in the field. These can be selected. |
